My kitchen is a mystical place, a kind of temple for me. It is a place where the surfaces seem to have significance, where the sounds and odours carry meaning that transfers from the past and the future." - Pearl Bailey
Meal planning is very important especially, when you are trying to limit your grocery shopping to once or twice a week. Just before the full lockdown, I bought groceries that will last me for at least a month, everything was portioned and organised in my freezer and pantry. Meals were planned strategically - it allows me to have variety of dishes and still, not having to eat the same food for a day or two.
Fusilli in Rosé Sauce made with leftovers (cream of mushroom soup, mix vegetables, pasta salad, tomato sauce) and Steamed White Wine Garlic Mussels.
Meal planning helps me manage my cravings and food waste. Planning your meals is also essential in keeping a healthy diet and a healthy budget. I'm challenging, you all to share your meal plan ideas.
